SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed about the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack sassa status of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office sassa status to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
